QR Code Generator
Turn any text or URL into a scannable QR code.
Your QR code appears below.
How to use QR Code Generator
Create a QR code from any text or URL and download it as PNG or SVG.
Open QR Code Generator on toolpermarket, then enter the values you want to work with.
In the Content field, type or paste the text, link, or any string you want to encode. Longer text needs a larger module size or a lower error-correction level.
In the Error correction field, choose how much damage the code can survive — L (low) to H (high). Use H only if you plan to place a logo on the code or print it tiny.
In the Module size field, pick how large each black square renders on screen. Bigger modules scan more easily on low-resolution displays.
Press Generate to compute the result. The output appears immediately below the form. Tweak any field and run it again to check a different scenario.
Read the result and use it as needed. If the number looks off, re-check your inputs and run it again — the math is deterministic, so the same entries always return the same answer.
Worked example. Paste "https://toolpermarket.com" and choose M correction to get a scannable code that opens the site on any phone camera.
Tips for accurate results.
Higher error correction (Q/H) keeps the code readable if it is partly covered, but makes the image denser.
If generation fails, shorten the text or drop to L correction — very long strings can exceed the largest QR version.
Save as SVG when you need to print at any size without blur; use PNG for quick sharing in a chat or email.
When to use QR Code Generator. Encoding a link so people can open your site without typing it. Sharing a coupon, ticket, or short note as a scannable image. Adding a code to a slide, invoice, or product package.
When you actually reach for this
- Use this when you need a scannable code that opens a URL, text, or contact without typing.
- Good for print posters, business cards, or product packaging where a phone camera does the lookup.
Where this tool stops being accurate
- Dense content (long URLs, vCard) needs a higher error-correction level or the code gets large and finicky to scan.
- A QR on a glossy or curved surface can glint and fail; the tool cannot compensate for bad physical placement.
Frequently asked questions
Is the QR code stored or tracked anywhere?
No. The code is drawn on your device from the text you typed; nothing is uploaded, logged, or saved. Close the tab and the content is gone.
Which formats can I download?
PNG for everyday use and SVG for crisp printing at any scale. Both are generated locally, so the file never touches a server.
Why did generation fail?
Usually the input was too long for the selected error-correction level. Shorten the text or switch to L (low) correction and try again.
Why won’t my phone scan the QR I printed?
Likely too small or too low contrast. Keep it at least 2cm across on print and use dark modules on a light background; a tiny QR in a corner of a flyer often falls below the scannable size.
Should I shorten the URL before encoding?
Yes for long links. A shorter URL means fewer modules, a smaller code, and faster scans. The destination is identical; you just remove visual clutter from the matrix.
