How to use SVG to PNG

Paste SVG code (or upload a .svg) and render it to a PNG at the size of the artwork.

  1. Open SVG to PNG on toolpermarket and enter your values in the fields below.

  2. In the Or paste SVG code field, paste the <svg>..</svg> markup you want to rasterize. Any valid SVG with explicit width/height or viewBox works.

  3. In the Image file field, or choose a .svg file from disk. Uploading is a convenience; pasting code is faster for snippets.

  4. Press Render to PNG to compute the result. The output appears immediately below the form. You can change any input and run it again to compare results.

  5. Read the result and use it as needed. If the number looks off, re-check your inputs and run it again — the math is deterministic, so the same entries always return the same answer.

Worked example. Paste a logo <svg> and download a PNG rendered at the artwork’s own size, ready to drop into a slide or doc.

Tips for accurate results.

  • Make sure the SVG has a width/height or viewBox or sizing may be off.

  • PNG keeps the vector art crisp at the rendered resolution.

  • Pasting code avoids a file round-trip for quick snippets.

When to use SVG to PNG. Turning a vector logo into a raster PNG. Exporting SVG icons for tools that need PNG. Making a shareable bitmap from markup.

When you actually reach for this

  • You have an SVG logo or icon and need a raster PNG for a place that rejects SVG.
  • You want a fixed-size bitmap version of vector art.

Where this tool stops being accurate

  • SVG must be rasterized at a pixel size you pick; there is no "native" resolution, so choose high enough for where it shows.
  • Fonts or external assets inside the SVG render with what is available; embedded fonts are safest.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to upload a file?

No. You can paste the SVG markup directly into the box, and the tool renders it. Uploading a .svg is just an alternative when you already have the file on disk.

What size will the PNG be?

The PNG is rendered at the SVG’s own dimensions from its width/height or viewBox, so a 200×200 logo becomes a 200×200 PNG. The tool rasterizes exactly the artwork you provide.

Is my SVG uploaded to a server?

No. The markup or file is read, drawn to a canvas, and exported as PNG locally; none of it is sent anywhere or stored.

Why is my SVG export blurry?

You set too small a pixel size. SVGs are resolution-free, so re-export at the exact dimensions you need and it will be sharp.
